Windows 10: KB5005565

My system auto loaded KB5005565 on 9/15 to my desktop and laptop.The desktop has 2 printers connected to it via cables. The laptop prints to both of them wireless. After the download the wireless print function would not work. I deleted the Windows upload from the laptop and it still would not work. I then deleted it from the desktop also and the wireless printing immediately worked.I have paused the Windows updates on both machines for 7 days.How do I disable KB5005565 so it does not download after the 7 days? I don't want to keep pausing the downloads. I might miss a good and necessary one.

Possible printer issue with KB5005565

Today I installed KB5005565 through WU on my desktop. Successfully installed.

Tonight my wife can't print from her laptop to the printer connected to my desktop. This has been working for years.
Printers work, can transfer files from laptop to desktop and back. All network setting unchanged.
I suspect the update I did today is the problem.
Has anyone else had this happen?

Looking at "Uninstall Updates" in WU there is for today:

• Security Update for Microsoft Windows (KB5005565)
• Servicing Stack 10.0.19041.1220

Looking at System Restore, there are 3 restore points to go back to, all dated today:

• Windows Modules Installer at 12:23
• Windows Modules Installer at 12:22
• update at 12:21

What's the best way to roll back?

I am on Version 21H2.

Edited to avoid misunderstandings - Because there were contradictory posts in this thread about the applicability of this CU to Version 21H2, I checked that KB5005565 CU was listed in my WU results before proceeding.

I can therefore confirm both that KB5005565 CU is intended for Version 21H2 and that it installs correctly.
And there is at least one other thread confirming that it installs correctly.

Hi Try3, sorry I don't get it - is this CU bringing you to 21H2 or the enablement package? BTW, the yesterday CU 5005565 was the slowest to me as well. However, it is properly installed but still on 21H1.
