Windows 10: KB5029263 stops at 25% download and crashes to Critical Process Died then goes into BIOS

I have been getting several system crashed recently and finally noticed that a Windows update KB5029263 wasnt downloading. It will download to 25% then then system will go to blue screen with the Critical Process Died error. A couple of minutes after the blue screen the system will automatically boot into BIOS. I could reboot back into windows by restarting the computer and the crashes to stopped after pausing updates.I have a 1TB drive that still had 678GB of free space so storage space isnt an issue. Are there any issues that would stop an update download?

Critical Process Died on windows 10 setup

Ive just opened event viewer as you suggested but I cant seem to find any error that says "critical process died"



I have attached a screenshot of the event viewer. I have scrolled to the bottom to where it first booted up.

Ive downloaded the software you sent the link for but I'm not sure how to use it as nothing shows up when I load it.

 

Stop code: CRITICAL PROCESS DIED

Did A restore because last automatic update made things run slow, now it says computer did not start correctly, shows Stop code: CRITICAL PROCESS DIED. It goes to automatic repair and has "restart" and "advanced options". Won't go to safe mode and won't
do another restore, any suggestions on how to make it work again?

 

Critical Process Died Stop Code

Laptop kept restarting from "Critical Process Died" stop code upon turning on. Never reaches desktop screen, it only goes to Automatic Repair. In Troubleshoot, I can't move past Automatic Restore Point. I can't uninstall updates. There is a problem when
Resetting the PC by keeping files (I don't want to lose all my files). Both Safe Mode only and Safe Mode with Networking is unavailable and goes to "Critical Process Died" stop code again before restarting. Make and model is ASUS X407M bought only last year
