Again, the KB5034441 issue continues. Back in January 2024, the word was to wait for a solution from Microsoft but now in May 2024, the word is no magic bullet will be provided; we have to work thru the script suggestions from Microsoft ref KB5028997.The chosen partition is part=4 on disk 0DISKPART> list disk Disk ### Status Size Free Dyn Gpt -------- ------------- ------- ------- --- --- Disk 0 Online 232 GB 22 GB * Disk 1 Online 7452 GB 1024 KB * DISKPART> sel disk=0 Disk 0 is now the selected disk. 2. How to install KB5034441: Windows Recovery Environment update for Windows 10, version 21H2 and 22H2: January 9, 2024

    DISKPART> list part

    Partition ### Type Size Offset

    ------------- ---------------- ------- -------

    Partition 1 System 750 MB 1024 KB

    Partition 2 Reserved 128 MB 751 MB

    Partition 3 Primary 117 GB 879 MB

    Partition 4 Recovery 1022 MB 118 GB

    DISKPART> sel part 1

Partition 1 is now the selected partition.

    DISKPART> shrink desired=250 minimum=250

You may not shrink OEM, ESP, or recovery partitions, or, offline volumes.

The volume you have selected may not be shrunk.

Please select another volume and try again.

Select partition #3 (117 GB) and try again to shrink it.

I would be tempted to shrink by 500 MB, instead of 250 MB.

Then, delete partition #4, to create 250+1102 (or 500+1102) of free space.

Recreate partition #4, into this free space.

    ... and so on

Unable to update (KB5034441) using below links

I am receiving this error on many Windows 10 systems. Microsoft instructions DO NOT WORK!

I am looking for an easy solution to allow this update to install.

Linux gparted may solve the problem. For those that know how to use Linux utilities.
