Windows 10: KB5040427 Installation Problem

I am unable to deploy this update, repeatedly fails, I also tried manual installation using the downloaded installer from Microsoft Update Catalog.-I have also followed the steps from this thread: KB5040427 installation repeatedly fails - Microsoft Community "The NTFS transaction records may have been corrupted. Please run this command and restart Windows:fsutil resource setautoreset true c:\ "

KB5040427 Installs but when I reboot it asks to install again.

I recommend using the “Show or Hide Updates” troubleshooter to hide the problematic update. Windows Update won’t install hidden updates. Run the troubleshooter then please try to hide the KB5040427 update that will show in the list. You may try restarting your pc if it helps.

KB5039211 Some update files are missing or have problems. 0x8007000d

Hi, sorry about the delay. Ran all the suggested steps, and shut down the PC for the night.

As of this morning, I have only KB5040427 listed in the Windows Updates.

Unfortunately it failed with:

Some update files are missing or have problems. We'll try to download the update again later. Error code: (0x8007000d).

So, the original issue appears to be resolved I think because this update is new as of Tuesday, correct? I don't see the other updates anymore.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
