    Keep getting Blank/Black screen on Destop startup


    I have Window 10 v 1909 2 installed on my Desktop and have to use the small reset button once or twice to get to my login page after I use the start button. I've tried all the fixes for blank/black screen fixes Ctrl+ Alt+ Del, etc. a few times but nothing works. I even did a clean install 11/2019 and I've had Window 10 installed on my PC since it first came out. I had it dual boot with windows 7 at one time. I'm wondering if the clean install cleans the Registry of Win 7 completely or if there's another fix?

    DZ68BC home build with 82579V adaptor, GTX 560 Ti Graphics board. UEFI boot.

    Blank screen on startup...

    I've got an old Gigabyte GA-8IPE1000-G motherboard lying around. But I only get a blank screen on startup. I get the ram beeps and everything, just no screen??

    Any ideas on where to look for the prob?

    Any help would be welcome

    • Were you able to get to the desktop screen after you restarted the system?
    • When the screen was blank, were you able to see the cursor on the screen?
    • Did you get any error code or error message?
