Hi all,I have been battling with an issue on my new build PC. Please help! Feelike I am loosing my mind!

Irecently build a new system and then cleanly installed windows to that system.Ever since then I have been plagued with random shutdowns, both when performingtasks and when the machine is idle. At the moment I seem to be getting around7-10 restarts/shutdowns daily, which is now seriously hurting my productivity.Checking the events log I keep seeing this above error amongst others when themachine has rebooted.

I havealready performed a number of steps trying to fix the fault, listed here..

    • Bios Update
    • Checked drivers and performed updates to the latest ones I think I got them all
    • Replaced the PSU and all power cables including wall plug
    • Checked all connections and reseated the RAM and GPU
    • Re-installed Windows 10 from scratch twice
    • Unplugged all non-essential devices currently working on just monitor, network cable, mouse, and keyboard
    • Checked Temps and airflow as is a new system with new fans there is no dirty, temps are stable and within peak operating window
    • Changed power performance settings

I am notreally sure what to do next..

    MyMachine specs are as follows:

    Ryzen3700x, Aorus X570 Pro non wifi, 32gb Corsair Vengence 3600mhz ram, GTX1080ti,PSU Corsair RM750x

  4. Kernal Power, Event 41 task Category 63

Event viewer shows a Critical event: Source: Kernal-Power (Event ID 41 Task Category 63)

Original title: Black Screen - As soon as Desktop shows, it goes black within seconds. (Even in safe mode)

I have tried all fixes I can find to no avail.

I can log into Windows but as soon as it gets to the desktop, it will go to the black screen within a couple seconds. No difference if I log in under safe mode.

    Most commands/tasks work, but explorer.exe doesn't.

In the event viewer I get a Critical event: Source: Kernal-Power (Event ID 41 Task Category 63)

    I upgraded from Win 7 Ultimate 64bit to Win 10 Pro 64bit.

    System:

    Alienware M17xR3 Laptop

    i7-2820QM 2.30GHz

    12GB Mem

    Nvidia GeForce GTX 460M

I removed and reinstalled the display driver and at no point did it make any difference. No external devices are plugged in or connected. No RunOnce processes or services are running in any mode.

Any help getting this resolved would be greatly appreciated...
