    Greetings.

    This is my first time posting, so I hope you'll excuse any blunders and silly questions. I'm rather distraught by this blue screen of death BSOD error I've got when I booted up my laptop to resume work this afternoon. If somebody could assist me with as much detailed information as possible, I'd appreciate it immensely – I'm a bit of a halfwit when it comes to knowing where stuff is on the computer.

    Perhaps, I'd do well to mention I've been getting memory management BSOD errors more and more lately. It's been happening almost ever since I got this laptop, honestly; I've just either not understood the solutions I've read online or they seemed to suggest that I open up my laptop and purchase new hardware, which I most definitely am not savvy enough to manage myself. I still haven't tried MemTest86 – I'll need a USB drive for that, aren't I?

    All that said, if there's any way of me sorting this out without having to format my laptop, that'd be ideal, seeing as I haven't got an immediate way of backing up ongoing work, projects, documents, music, videos, software configuration and games.

    The Windows 10 error Kernel Data Inpage Error refers to a missing or corrupt page of kernel data in a Windows page file. To help you in resolving this, I'd like to know more information. Kindly answer the questions below:

    • Did you make any changes on your device prior to the issue?
    • What is the build and version of Windows currently installed? To check,
      Press & hold the Windows Key and press the R key. In the RUN dialog, type WINVER and press the Enter key
    • Do you any third-party security software installed?

    In the meantime, I would suggest that you run the troubleshooting steps on this

    KERNEL DATA INPAGE ERROR

    Bought a Lenovo laptop second a month or two ago and it's been crashing every couple days ago and displaying a blue screen with the error message KERNEL DATA INPAGE ERROR. Any idea what this means?
