Windows 10: Kernel-Power 41 Playing Terraria

Hello, I need some help finding out why I am getting kernel-power 41 and how to fix it.


When:

So far kernel-power 41 has only occurred when playing modded Terraria after about a couple of hours. I am using 64-bit tModLoader version 0.11.6.2 and using the following mods: Good Pro Lib Beta v0.2, In Game Save Button v1.1, imkSushi's Mod - Old Recipes Enabler v1.0, Brighter Torches v1.3, Begone, Evil! Disable Evil Biome Spread v1.1, Where's My Items v0.5.1, Shorter Respawn Time v1.0, imkSushi's Mod v4.3.1, AlchemistNPC Lite v1.7.2, No More Tombs v1.0.1, OmniSwing v3.0.1, Boss Cursor v1.4.1, Max Stack Plus Extra v1.1.0.4, Wing Slot v1.7.3, Which Mod Is This From? v2.6.2, Vein Miner v1.3.1, Magic Storage v0.4.3.5, Yet Another Boss Health Bar v1.3.2, Fargo's Souls Mod v1.3.2.3, Fargo's Mutant Mod v2.2.1, Recipe Browser v0.8.7, Boss Checklist v1.1.1, Calamity Mod Music v1.4.4.3, Calamity Mod No Calamity Music v1.4.4.3 .

I have also noticed in device manager I get a volmgr event-id 161 error at the same time or a few seconds before kernel-power 41 occurs.


If anyone could help me resolve this issue, it would be greatly appreciated!

In-order to get more clarity on this issue and to assist you with appropriate troubleshooting steps, reply with answers to the below questions:

1. Are you aware of any changes made on your PC, prior to this issue?
   
2. Is this issue specific while playing a particular game?
   
3. Which edition of Windows are you currently using?
   

A Kernel Power Event 41 can occur in the following scenarios.

Scenario 1: The computer restarts, and there is a Stop error BugcheckCode in the event data.

Scenario 2: The computer is shut down by pressing and holding the power button.

Scenario 3: The system randomly restarts and no Stop error BugcheckCode is listed, or the computer is completely unresponsive (hard hang).

I suggest you refer the article on Kernel
Power Event ID 41 and follow the steps for the scenario that is causing this error on your PC.

Additionally, you can refer the article on Windows
Kernel event ID 41 error "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first" in Windows
and check if that helps.

Kernel 41 Power issue

Hello,

When the computer shuts down or restarts unexpectedly, the Kernel Power Event ID 41 error occurs. Upon starting a computer running Windows, the system checks whether the computer was properly shut down. If the computer was not properly turned off, a Kernel
Power Event 41 message is generated.
