Windows 10: Kernel-Power Error ID-41

Hi

From a few days, my computer screen after playing minecraft, suddenly have some yellow lines and some noise for 1-2 seconds and then it restarts or sometimes show 'Your PC ran into problem' but it is showed for very less time that I can't read any error code.

I am running version 20H2 and it first time happens some days back when I was watching a video. Sometimes it happens when my cpu makes noise and then it happens but today it happens when cpu don't have any noise. Please help my all drivers are updated. In event viewer it shows error- event id- 6008 and after that it shows critical- event id-41. Please help.

Ram- 4GB 3.88 GB Usable

Processor- I5 2400S 2.5 GHZ

A Kernel Power Event 41 can occur in the following scenarios.

Scenario 1: The computer restarts, and there is a Stop error BugcheckCode in the event data.

Scenario 2: The computer is shut down by pressing and holding the power button.

Scenario 3: The system randomly restarts and no Stop error BugcheckCode is listed, or the computer is completely unresponsive (hard hang).

I suggest you refer the article on Kernel
Power Event ID 41 and follow the steps for the scenario that is causing this error on your PC.

The error is caused when computer is powered off without doing a proper Windows shutdown.

You mention that you can only run the laptop on the power plug. That suggests a bad battery. Try this tip and see what it says about your battery

If it is a bad batter, and the computer is still under warranty, back to the manufacturer for a fix.

Since this is a power issue, do you recall the computer shutting off unexpectedly. You don't mention that happening. Make sure the plug is connected properly at both ends, ie unplug and replug it. If you are using an extension cord, try a different one.
