Windows 10: Keyboard and mouse shut off after PC boots up.

I have windows 10, and suddenly after re-activating windows 10 (with Microsoft help) my keyboard and mouse stopped working. Now, the computer boots up fine but keyboard and mouse both do not work. I cannot get into Bios, I cannot reinstall or install another OS from disc and I cannot go into Settings or Device Manager. My keyboard turns on for about 5 seconds and then shuts off.


I also cannot get Micorsoft to do a remote access because I cannot use the computer. Any suggestions???

• Pres Windows+X key on your keyboard.
• Select Device Manager.
• Locate the mouse and keyboard drivers, right click, then click on Update.

Did you check that the keyboard is not working again as I had the same issue with another PC where the system restore failed but I found that the keyboard and mouse were working even though the restore failed??
