  1. Keyboard and mouse unresponsive after boot

    Hi all,

Windows boot to my user login page but the keyboard and mouse do not work.

    Unplugged and back, no luck.

They do work on bios. Legacy usb is enabled.

In advanced repair mode (where you end up if you power on and off 3 times...) both work. In safe mode not.

I've tried to restore to previous restore point, I've tried 4 different but get error 0x8007003 on all. There are 2windows updates and 2 automatic restore points. By the way, the updates numbers do not show up.

Tried to go back to previous version, no luck.

    Startup repair, no luck.

    Image recovery unfortunately not available.

Command prompt; gets me to X:/windows/system32/ where I've tried to type in some commands I stumbled upon on the net to uninstall the latest update (by what I guess the Kb version is) but the commands are not recognisable/valid or something like that.

Is there anything one can suggest I do besides resetting the computer??

    Thanks

    :)
