So....my pc has been off for a good few weeks and now I turn it on I can't log in as mouse and keyboard won't work. Lights are on with both but nobody home.I go into advanced recovery, can't do safe mode as can't use keyboard to log in and can't use mouse to click anything. Can't do uninstall recent updates as it says it encountered an issue so didn't uninstall Can't do restore to previous point as its saying there isn't one to restore to.Please can anyone advise me of what I can do to fix this? Oh and I'm dumb so in simplest of forms would be greatly appreciated

    :)

Unresponsive Mouse and Keyboard in Windows 10

    Hi,

One reason why your mouse and keyboard is not working is because of an outdated driver. We suggest that you update the mouse and keyboard driver by following the steps below:

    • Pres Windows+X key on your keyboard.
    • Select Device Manager.
    • Locate the mouse and keyboard drivers, right click, then click on Update.

If you need further assistance, don't hesitate to reach out.
