Windows 10: Keyboard does not exist, code 10

hi, so long story short, my touchpad isnt working, in device manager i have 2 of Lenovo keyboard device, one working properly the other one not working, also for the not working one, in the driver status the message is:


This device cannot start. Code 10

A device which does not exist was specified.


i tried troubleshooting, tried to download from the support.lenovo.com cause i have a lenovo laptop, more specifically ideapad 3-15IIL05, one more thing is that in the registry editor, for keyboard i have a lastdeletedate, but i dont remember uninstalling the device.


what should i do, and how can i fix it?

I suggest you to check if the issue persists when you connect another keyboard to your system.

If the issue is with the keyboard, then suggest you to update the keyboard drivers by following the steps below.

  Press Windows key + X and select
  Device Manager from the list.

  Expand ‘Keyboard’ from the list.
  
• 
  Right click on the driver and select ‘update driver software’ and follow the prompts.

Keyboard Not working in Windows 10
