Windows 10: keyboard failure problem

I have a dell xps8300 with windows 10 My computer was fine it restarted and keyboard failure came on screen before anything else on boot Keyboard now does not work at all and onscreen keyboard did not work either I formatted hard drive and reinstalled windows 10 Keyboard still does not work it does not detect it as a device so no drivers or anything is on windows With keyboard connected i scanned for devices and nothing Keyboard is fine not broken can not enter bios no matter what usb ports are all good how do i install keyboard back into a device checked dell and no driver for that help please

I suggest you to check if the issue persists when you connect another keyboard to your system.

If the issue is with the keyboard, then suggest you to update the keyboard drivers by following the steps below.

• 
  Press Windows key + X and select
  Device Manager from the list.
  
• 
  Expand ‘Keyboard’ from the list.
  
• 
  Right click on the driver and select ‘update driver software’ and follow the prompts.

• Confirm which build is currently installed on your device. To check, follow the steps below:

• Press Windows key + R, then type in winver.
• Click OK.

• What is the make and model of your wireless keyboard?
• Confirm if your keyboard had history of possible hardware failure due to accidentally dropping or spilling of any liquid to the said device.
