Laptop keyboard issue

Hello! Earlier I was using my laptop with an external keyboard and mouse then after removing the peripherals I noticed the laptop keyboard wasn’t working properly. It would output different characters than what I would press. There’s no water damage on the laptop itself. I’m sure there’s a correlation somewhere between the external keyboard and the laptop but I can’t figure it out.

I’ve tried the number lock solution and got no results.

Keyboard problem in Windows 10

I suggest you to check if the issue persists when you connect another keyboard to your system.

If the issue is with the keyboard, then suggest you to update the keyboard drivers by following the steps below.

• 
  Press Windows key + X and select
  Device Manager from the list.

  Expand ‘Keyboard’ from the list.
  
• 
  Right click on the driver and select ‘update driver software’ and follow the prompts.

Follow the steps below to open On-screen Keyboard.
