  1. Keyboard Input Lag

Hello. Ive just recently started having problems with keyboard input lag. Meaning, I will type and it will not register until a full second after I hit the key. I have re-installed java multiple times. Scanned my computer for harmfull virises, programs. Ive switched keyboards, and the problem still occurs. I am at a standstill at what to do and would really appreciate some help. Thank You!

    :)

    Mouse and keyboard input lag

    Hi,

I'm noticing that my keyboard and mouse sometimes lag and this can be very frustrating.

By sometimes I mean frequently. From seconds to minutes apart, and it will become worse when I am doing something more intensive, such as playing a game. Often when I do try to play a game (e.g. DayZ), my mouse is lagging and jumping every few seconds, to
the point where it becomes unplayable.

Other times, like whilst browsing the web, there is no lag at all.

I have never had this problem before and it makes me regret buying my new PC with windows 10 pre-installed. Drivers are all up to date, no other USB devices are plugged in, I have run services.msc etc. etc. I feel like I have searched everywhere and tried
    everything with no result.

Please, is there any way that this can be resolved?

    Many thanks,

    Lachlan

  3. Mouse and Keyboard Input Lag

    Hi Mustafa,

To help resolve your concern, use the inbox Deployment Image Servicing and Management (DISM) tool. Follow these steps:

    • Open an elevated command prompt. To do this, swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap
Search. Or, if you are using a mouse, point to the lower-right corner of the screen, and then click
Search. Type Command Prompt in the Search box, right-click
Command Prompt, and then click Run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click
      Allow.
    • Type the following command, and then press Enter.

It may take several minutes for the command operation to be completed.
      DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
Important When you run this command, DISM uses Windows Update to provide the files that are required to fix corruptions. However, if your Windows Update client is already broken, use a running Windows installation as the repair source, or use a
Windows side-by-side folder from a network share or from a removable media, such as the Windows DVD, as the source of the files. To do this, run the following command instead:
      DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:C:\RepairSource\Windows /LimitAccess
Note Replace the C:\RepairSource\Windows placeholder with the location of your repair source. For more information about using the DISM tool to repair Windows, reference

      Repair a Windows Image
      .
    • Type the following command and press Enter.

It may take several minutes for the command operation to be completed.
      sfc /scannow
    • Close the command prompt, and then run Windows Update again.
DISM creates a log file (%windir%/Logs/CBS/CBS.log) that captures any issues that the tool found or fixed. %windir% is the folder in which Windows is installed. For example, the %windir% folder is C:\Windows

Regarding the Trojan: Win32/Skeeyah.A!bit, kindly follow the troubleshooting steps from

    Malware Protection Center.

Let us know how it goes.

    Regards.

    Keyboard Input Lag

Is there any application draining resources? To see that right-click on the taskbar and select Task Manager. Click more details to see the full options. See for Any application that uses too much RAM or CPU. In the Details tab you can see individual processes and even right-click on them and set priority to a lower level. If it is a startup application, you could stop it from loading with Windows at startup. Press Win+R to open an Run dialog and execute msconfig to open System Configuration. Click on the Services tab and check the box to hide all Microsoft services. Examine the remaining services and uncheck the box to disable any non-important one (such as updaters). Also click on the Startup tab and click to open Task Manager. Disable any non-important application (Skype, uTorrent, Adobe Reader etc). You don't need everything to load at startup! You can manually load it any time you want.
