    Keyboard issue

Hello! I have an older lady friend who recently purchased a H-P desktop computer with Windows 10. She does not like the "low-profile" keyboard that came with her computer; she much prefers the older-style keyboards with the large raised keys. I told her that I had some extra keyboards and that she could have one of them.

Her keyboard has the normal USB connector on it and I tried using an older Lenovo keyboard, also with a USB connector on it. But her computer does not "see" the keyboard as being connected to this computer. I was of the impression that all keyboards with USB connectors on them were pretty much the same interchangeable but apparently this is not the case.

I also tried using an old keyboard that had the PS/2 connector on it and was using an adapter to convert the PS/2 to USB but the computer did not "see" this keyboard, either.

I do not know whether this is a Windows 10 issue or an "H-P" issue. If anyone has any suggestions, they would be very much

    appreciated. Thank you!
