Windows 10: Keyboard layouts from languages I deleted keep coming back

Dear Support Team,I'm experiencing a recurring issue with the keyboard layouts on my Windows 11 laptop. Despite my attempts to resolve it, unwanted keyboard layouts continue to appear. Here are the details:Issue Descriptionesired Layouts: I want to have only two keyboard layouts: Canadian Multilingual Standard and US English.Current Problem: My language settings have French Canada with Canadian Multilingual Standard, and US English with US English. However, the taskbar shows four keyboard options:FRA Français Canada - Canadien multilingue standardENG Anglais Canada - Anglais États-Uni

This suggests to me that you are using the wrong "keyboard language" for your keyboard, and that therefore you first step would be to determine exactly what language keyboard you have. Possibly have a look at Windows Keyboard Layouts - Globalization | Microsoft Docs.

(The age of any laptop capable of running Windows 10 at all should not be a problem as regards keyboard layout)

 

The extra keyboard layout keep adding to my language bar (with Pics)

The updated Windows 10 may have detected your language, the reason why it automatically gave you the other Thai US keyboard. To correct this issue, we suggest that you follow these steps:

• Click on the Start Menu, type in region and language settings and select it.
• Under Languages, select Thai Kedmanee keyboard and click Remove.
• Lastly, add it back by clicking Add a language.

After these steps, your keyboard layout will permanently stay with Thai Kedmanee keyboard.

How can i delete unwanted keyboard layouts?

To remove a keyboard layout : on Windows 10 use these steps:

1. Open Settings.
   
2. Click on Time & Language. Click on Language.
   
3. Under the "Preferred languages" section, select
   
   the current default language.
   
4. Click the Options button.

   To delete a keyboard layout, go to Settings > Time & language
