Windows 10: Keyboard not working during login

The keyboard doesn't function on the login screen. But as I click on the Ease of Access button, it starts working. Moreover, on multiple occasions, the keyboard starts entering random characters and I need to restart to rectify it.

We're glad that you were able to login now on the computer. Since the keyboard is still not working, we would like to know the answers to the following questions:

• Are you using a laptop or a desktop?
• If you are using a standard keyboard (wired/wireless), have you checked if there are any lights from the keyboard that indicates that it is being detected?

In the meantime, we suggest running the hardware troubleshooter as it can fix possible issues that you are having. Kindly follow the steps below to perform it:

• Open Cortana, type in Troubleshoot and click it.
• Under Find and fix other problems, click on Keyboard.
  
  
• Click Run the troubleshooter and follow the on-screen instructions.

Can't login to new computer w/Windows 10

  Are you able to login to Microsoft Account on Web?

  Have you installed any language pack?
  

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to select the appropriate language in login screen at the bottom right corner and check if it helps.

Steps 2: Use On-screen keyboard in the login screen to login and check if it helps.

Window 10 upgrade but keyboard does not work at login
