Windows 10: Keyboard or mouse problem ?

Hello all.


So for the few past days i've been having the most frustrating problem. My mouse and keyboard feels like it's not responding correctly. Keyboard just sort of stops when i'm writing something or playing a game, but it works again the moment i press key again. It's sort of the same with mouse which sometimes don't respond to my "click" and sometimes when i press mouse button it "double clicks". This doesn't happen only when playing games but when i'm browsing internet and other stuff.. I tried literally everything, deleting updates and reinstalling new ones, plugging into other ports, deleting razer synapse..


I looked into device manager and is this normal ? The keyboard is in mouse tab and mouse is in the keyboard tab.

• Have you tried using a different keyboard and mouse? If yes, how was it?
• Have you tried using your keyboard and mouse to another computer? If yes, what is the result?
• To make sure that we have not missed on anything, what troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

I suggest you to update the drivers for keyboard and mouse by following the steps below.

• Right click on Start icon and select Device Manager.
• Expand Keyboard (for keyboard) and Mice and other pointing devices (for mouse).
• Right click on the driver and select Update Driver Software.

Unresponsive Mouse and Keyboard in Windows 10

One reason why your mouse and keyboard is not working is because of an outdated driver. We suggest that you update the mouse and keyboard driver by following the steps below:

• Pres Windows+X key on your keyboard.
• Select Device Manager.
• Locate the mouse and keyboard drivers, right click, then click on Update.
