Windows 10: Keyboard stops allowing typing after 10 mins and starts controlling Windows.

I have been having problems with the standard keyboard. After 10 mins you can't type characters and the keyboard starts controlling Windows. I have tried all the the fixes found on here. The same thing happens with a USB keyboard and the onscreen keyboard. I have just tried a reset but the problem continues. The keyboards work fine on another computer. Will reinstalling Windows do more than a reset. Is it my only option.

Step 1: Turn off on screen keyboard

• Open Start menu, type Settings in search bar and click on Settings.
• Click on Ease of access and select keyboard.
• Turn off the on screen keyboard.

Step 2: Turn off tablet mode

I suggest you to turn off tablet mode, as it may also be the cause for the issue.

• Open Start menu, type tablet mode settings in search bar and click on it.
• Turn off the tablet mode option and check if it helps.

I would suggest you to follow these steps and try to run the Hardware troubleshooter:

• Press Windows key + X on the keyboard.
• Click on Control panel.
• Type “Troubleshooting” without quotes in the Control panel
  search box.
• Click on Troubleshooting and click on View all.
• Click on Hardware and Devices troubleshooter and follow the on-screen instructions.

If the issue still persists, Uninstall and Reinstall the Keyboard Drivers.

Uninstall the Keyboard Drivers

• 
  Press “Windows Logo” + “X” keys on the keyboard.
  
• 
  Click on “Device Manager” from that list.
  
• 
  Search for the Keyboard from the device list, right click on it and then select “Uninstall”. On the un-installation window, if you have an option: “Delete the driver software for this device” you may select
  that and then remove the corrupted drivers from the computer.

  Follow the on-screen instructions to complete it and then restart the computer if prompted.

Windows 10 tablets has a feature to enable and disable the on screen keyboard. We suggest that you disable the on-screen keyboard through the control panel by following the steps below and check if it helps:

• Press the Windows key + R.
• Type Control Panel and select the top most result.
• Type ease of access center in the control panel and open it.
• Click "Use the computer without a mouse or keyboard".
• Make sure that the "Use on-screen keyboard" is unchecked.
