  1. Korean Hangul characters not combining, only type in straight line!

I'm having a terrible time trying to figure out why this is happening suddenly, but when I enable the Korean keyboard on my Windows 10 computer, all of the characters come out in a single line, like this...

... instead of combining into syllables like this...

I had to copy/paste the correct example above from another computer through remote desktop

I've tried removing the Korean keyboard and language and re-installing, but it has no effect and the problem persists! Please help! I need this fixed for my Korean learning courses! :

    Thanks.

    :)

korean keyboard / hangul doesn't work

Hello, I have the korean keyboard installed on my notebook since yesterday the keyboard stopped working.

Everytime I type appears the hanja writing and not hangul. But what's weird is this only happens at windows, when I try to write in a document or rename a file, but when I write on internet is in hangul.

I already uninstalled and reinstalled the korean keyboard, restored the system before the update of yesterday and nothing changed. I want to know what I can to fix it because I use this for study and work.

Installed Korean language keyboard but still can't type in Hangul

I'm using Windows 7 Professional and added the Korean (Korea) Microsoft IME keyboard but there's no toggle/option for toggling between English/Korean input.

Clicking Properties for Microsoft IME gives this message:

The property setting for Microsoft IME is not available.

I've seen suggestions to change the Keyboard Type from "2 Beolsik" to "3 Beolsik" and "Delete by Jaso unit" in other places but that menu doesn't even appear.

Note: I can switch input languages using (alt+Lshift) but when I'm already in "KO" I still can't actually get to Hangul input.

    Typing in Hangul

I downloaded the language pack for Hangul and installed it properly; however, I'm not able to type in Korean via the physical keyboard. The on-screen keyboard display functions correctly, but I find this inconvenient and slow. If anyone has any solutions
or suggestions, please let me know. I've searched online and looked at different alternatives. I'm unsure as to if this is a Windows 10 problem or a problem with my Surface Book. I'm not sure how to go about this problem, but it is verified that I have
properly installed the language pack. Thanks in advance.
