Windows 10: Lack of graphics on windows

After the last windows update the graphics seems to have gone to minimum. Startup screen is white, all text is in a white box with black line round it, date and time are missing from bottom right of screen, all open windows tabs are white. Went to windows help who told me to go to device manager and uninstall everything under display adaptors , didn't work. Any other suggestions?

Your computer makes a noise or beeps from your internal speaker because it failed to detect the graphics card. What we can suggest is for you to try cleaning your graphics card with a pencil eraser. Here are the steps below:

• Turn your computer off.
• Pull out your video/graphics card.
• Rubbed the cold contacts with soft pencil eraser.
• Connect your video/graphics card back to the computer.

Kindly note that this is just a temporary fix. If the case still continues, I suggest that you contact your graphics card's manufacturer.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
