Windows 10: Lack of Highlighting

The lack of effective highlighting of selections in win 10 is finally driving me mad *Smile. Is there anything anyone knows of that can deal with this? I have attached a screenshot. Believe it or not Adobe Acrobat Update service has been selected. There is now way anyone can tell. Is there a way to make that highlighting not be clear so my old eyes can see it?

Very true but it highlights an inconsistancy and lack of basic functionality within the file manager. You should quite simply be able to do a full broad search from within the file manager.

Okay - you make me "sign in" to "see the answer" but - where is the answer. This highlighting (or lack thereof) to copy and paste issue is VERY frustrating...what to do about it and WHEN will YOU fix it?

 

Must be the theme you are using, works fine for me.

 

Thanks Aramil. You didn't solve my problem but you got me on the course to solve it. You posted your pic and said it works fine. I laughed because I could see no highlighting on your picture. So then I thought if I don't see it and he says it's there maybe it is my monitor. Changed contrast and voila! highlighting! Not sure why the contrast change happened about the time I updated to win 10 but it is nothing but history now. Thanks again.
