Windows 10: Lagging

I previously installed windows 10 on my Dell Vostro 2420 after of which I have experienced lagging and hanging of my PC, I have tried cleaning up the whole system, running commands to increase the speed but nothing has happened. I have recently updated my BIOS and other related drivers but am experiencing the same problem. what can I do to solve this problem? my computer's properties are processor - Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-3110M cpu@ 2.40GHz, RAM - 4GB, 64bit OS.

Random lag spikes

Hi,

We would like to know more about your lag issue:

• What browser are you using when you experience a lag?
• Does the lag occur in a particular game?

In the meantime, we suggest you run the System Maintenance troubleshooter. Here are the steps:

• Press Windows Key + X.
• Click on Control Panel.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• On the left pane, click on View All.
• Click on System Maintenance to run the troubleshooter.

Upper right corner lag.

And the hotfix too, 10.12a over it as well?
sorry you may did but i no idea, so step by step.

And just make it clear;
your lag is the mouse arow in the corner/
if yes;
do you use samthing on sidebar?
if yes try to switch off and see...

Video and audio lagging on Windows 10

I have tried every step that you suggested with no good results. I have a TOSHIBA SATELLITE L675D-S7049..

The exact problem is the video and the sound lags and makes a buzzing sound . it does it on all videos and sound. even on iTUNES
