Windows 10: Laptop crash completely

As the topic said, Im facing a weird problem where whenever an app that is in fullscreen mode, and i try to switch app (alt tab), my laptop went not responding and crashed completely, i asked my friends if im online in steam and apparently im not online which means eveything is turned off. I dont really know what is happening here, but i already udpated my windows 10, i didn't faced problem like this before this month. I really appreciate your helps cause it is very troublesome although i know i can just change to fullscreen windowed to solve the problem but fullscreen mode provide higher framerates. All i can do is force turn my laptop off whenever it happens.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?
