Windows 10: Laptop crashes on boot and when asleep

I have been encountering a few issues with my laptop for quite some time. The first issue has been going on for longer than the second, so I am not sure if they are related. I did change the Sodimm ram from 8GB to 32GB about 8 months ago, but I changed it back last month to see if that would fix it. It did not.System Info:Asus Zephyrus G15AMD Ryzen 9 6900HSNvidia RTX 3070 Ti16 GB Ram1. When the laptop is asleep for an extended period of time it crashes, then restarts itself. If I do not return to it quick enough after this happens it will be unresponsive. The light indicating that it is runnin

How to disable keyboard when laptop is asleep?

Hi,

In order for us to assist you regarding the issue on disabling your keyboard when your laptop is asleep. Kindly follow these steps:

• Open an elevated command prompt.
• Type in the command below and press
  Enter.

powercfg -devicedisablewake "exact name of your keyboard"


For example, “Logitech HID-Compliant Keyboard”

• When finished, close the elevated command prompt.

laptop doesnt boot automatically

This is what happened.

1. Did a repair install and later disabled hibertnate in CMD.
2. Enabled legacy option ROM in BIOS.
3. After a few times startup ( i used the system in such mode for 5 days), changed boot option back to default.
4. Vola!! It boots automatically to win10 without any keypress. Tested it with many starts to confirm the same.
5. Re-enabled hibernate option using CMD and later selected Fast Startup.
6. System booted normally, without the need for any keypress.

I do not know exactly whether such steps resolved the problem or what else happened, hence cannot suggest above steps.

Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
