    Dear all,


    I’ve tried almost everything suggested about this problem but alas, it still doesn’t work. My dvd player stopped working a while ago, but it still can play old games on CD’s. I’ve deleted the drivers and it didn’t help at all. I updated to windows 10 a few weeks ago and that didn’t work either. I have an ASUS N551JB. I would really like to play dvds again. If I put in a DVD it will only say: please insert a disk in drive E:. The dvd drive will make a lot of noise but it won’t read dvds, but games work fine for some reason. I’ve tested it with new dvds which were never used and some old ones. Can someone please help me. I’ve tried almost everything now, including disabling autoplay, changed regions etc.

    I just upgraded to windows 10 .my dvd player on my hp 2000 laptop won`t play cd`s or dvd`s .also I can not play videos on facebook or youtube.

    Help...asus bw-12b1st will not read blu-ray dvd

    I bought an ASUS BW-12B1ST Blu-ray writer...installed and it didnt read ANY dvd...deleted from devices and restarted...it then played dvd's but NOT Blu-ray dvd...it lists as BD player under Computer...I run ANY DVD HD and it recognizes it as a blu-ray writer, but no play...OS is VISTA. Suggestions??
