    laptop freeze's randomly Event 41 0x8000400000000002

Since today afternoon, I am having issue with the laptop freezing randomly (4x), I have ruled out the aspect of malware or virus. Also, couple of weeks ago, there was problem with video driver( crash Bsod), so after using display driver uninstaller, reinstall driver, it was fixed.

In order to diagnose the problem, I am trying to find the root cause of this issue. On the event Viewer, under summary page event, few critical are there linking to kernel power ( cleanly shutting down)
    In more detail,

    Complete Freeze - Kernel-Power, Event ID 41, Task 63

    Managed to solve this.

Seems like I had a couple issues. The power supply was on the fritz and C-States needed to be turned off in the bios.

I went through all the steps listed on this thread by @mileskb
    Windows 10 freezes randomly

I did change some of the power management settings in windows, but I had tried that before without results. It might have been a combination of C-States and power management.
