Windows 10: Laptop goes in hibernation without a reason

I am running Windows 10 build 11102, but it happened in earlier builds too.

My laptop goes in hibernation without any apparent reason. I have disabled all possible items about hibernation in advanced power management, except hibernation itself.
It only happens when the lid is closed. I have configured to do nothing when the lid is closed. It even happens when the laptop is on AC power.

My battery is old and I should replace it. But I have configured to do nothing when the battery level goes to critical, but the laptop is on AC power. What is more, when I remove the battery, the laptop also goes randomly in hibernation.

I do not want to disable hibernation altogether, because I am afraid that the laptop then will simply shutdown.

Anyone any ideas?

Problem with hibernation - Windows 10

Whenever I put my laptop into hibernate, the screen goes black but it doesn't switch off properly. Effectively, it stays running and draining power. I have an HP pavillion laptop that goes automatically into hibernate when it goes past 10% battery, but it
goes into a half-hibernate, where the battery drains. I have to plug it in and charge it to use it again. However, the laptop resumes if I do this.

However, it can't just be running everything just without any screen, because I've found I can force a proper hibernate by looking at the wifi button. When it turns from blue to orange, I can hold down the power button and shut it off forcefully, which creates
a hibernation-like state where the laptop resumes when I power it up again.

I'm incredibly confused. I can give whatever technical or software details necessary. I can't find anywhere else online that details this problem.

I have the proper settings for all the above scenarios. But still I am facing problems. Sometimes I get notification that I battery is low(at 7%) and other times the laptop suddenly goes into hibernate because the battery was finished. As it didn't warn
me, I didn't plug it in the power source. So, this is where my main concern is, the laptop sometimes suddenly goes into hibernate mode without giving a low battery warning.
