Windows 10: Laptop isn’t detecting my printer

Discus and support Laptop isn’t detecting my printer in Windows 10 Customization to solve the problem; My laptop isn’t detecting Ricoh printer. It also isn’t detecting other USB 2.0 devices at all.     Laptop isn’t detecting my printer


    My laptop isn’t detecting Ricoh printer. It also isn’t detecting other USB 2.0 devices at all. I use HP laptop running Windows 10. I am not sure but this issue might appear after the last update

    Printer isn´t working after latest update.

    After the latest update from Windows, my Canon Pixma ip6600 printer isnt working. In Device Manager it shows up as working properly but when I go to print it isn´t listed as an option in any programs. Troubleshoot suggests it´s a USB 2 printer on a USB
    3 port and that that´s the problem but that cant be since it worked fine before the update. I´ve tried to uninstall and plug it back in but that doesn´t work either.

    Printer isn´t working after latest update.

    Managed to solve it... here´s how I did it just in case anyone else has the same problem...

    ->Settings

    ->Printers & scanners

    ->Add a printer or scanner

    ->The printer that I want isn´t listed

    ->Add a local printer or network printer with manual settings

    ->Use an existing port: USB001 (Virtual printer port for USB)

    ->Choose printer

    ->Use the driver that is currently installed

    ->Type printer name

    And done... =P

    Laptop isn’t detecting my printer

    Printer not detected

    I bought a canon pixma 2540s printer 2 days ago and I finished the installations from the cd and it worked , I closed my laptop and the next day the laptop made an update , the printer installation was gone and every time I try to reinstall it reaches
    step 3 which is connecting the printer to the laptop and it says " cant be detected I tried to do it manually the laptop keep refusing to read the printer and I'm 100% sure that it's connected and that the usb is working, sometimes it would say that the printer
    is detected for like 2 seconds and then it goes back to not detected .
