    Laptop microphone suddenly too quiet for people to hear me


    This week the microphone on my laptop has suddenly become too quiet and people can't hear me in meetings.My laptop is only a year old, I'm using Windows 11 and everything is up to date.I've done the trouble shoot on the mic and it says there are no problems.My mic volume is set to 100 but I am still really, really quiet.I have tried using headphones but this didn't improve the problem either.I work remotely so this is very problematic for me! Can anyone help? Thank you!

    Laptop Built In Microphone Too Quiet After Installing Voice Changer

    So I have a built-in laptop microphone. I decided to install a voice changer called Clownfish voice changer just to troll some friends on some games. It didn't work at all so I decided to uninstall it. Then suddenly, people can barely hear me anymore as
    my mic is too quiet.

    I tried troubleshooting audio problems, boosting microphone volume, disabling, and re-enabling my microphone. I'm not really a tech guy so I don't really know what to do. I was thinking of doing the process of uninstalling the Realtek driver and reinstalling
    it but I'm afraid that I will mess something up. Any suggestions?

    Microphone went REALLY quiet suddenly... help!

    Inbuilt microphone on laptop is so quiet

    I have a lenovo ideapad laptop and recently the microphone quality on it has got very bad. When I'm on various video calls people can not hear me properly, which I have noticed was not a problem a few months ago.

    I have tried various troubleshoots and done virtually all the recommended things for microphones that are not working, but as there is still some sound, although very quiet, the results of these troubleshoots say there is no issue because some sound can
    still get through.

    During covid, I need to use my microphone more often so this has become a real issue for me.

    Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated thanks!
