Windows 10: Laptop stuck at "Repairing disk errors" Any help?

Cheers, *Wink[/quote] This just doesn't work for some reason... I've typed in exactly what you told me but it does nothing. Nothing at all... As already stated, the only thing that happens is that a new command line X:\Sources> appears under what i just wrote. My keyboard is nordic (includes characters like ä,ö and ö). Could it be causing some problems? I know it sounds stupid, but it's the only option that i can come up with. Anyway, i wrote the chkdsk c: /r just to see what happens, and it gave me this as an answer: The type of the file system is RAW. CHKDSK is not available for RAW drives.

I'm kinda starting to loose hope on this damned laptop... Maybe it's time to just buy a new one*Smile

 

Try running the portable versions of Crystal Diskinfo and Macrorit Discanner
Macrorit Disk Scanner Scan Disk and Check Bad Sectors in Windows Server partition

to get an idea of whether your disk is failing.

It is possible but awkward to clear the 'dirty bit' that causes chkdsk to run. The whole idea is that running chkdsk whould do that, and sometimes that does take a long time.
