Windows 10: Laptop updated and Seagate External Portable Hard Drive Not Working

My laptop update by itself and now when ever I try to use my seagate external portable hard drive the computer tells me that "D:\ is not accessible, The file or directory is corrupted and unreadabale"

suggest that you try changing the drive letter and its path and see if it addresses the issue. Follow the steps below:

• Right-click the Windows key and click Computer Management.
• Under Storage, click Disk Management.
• Find your Seagate External Hard Drive, right-click it and select
  Change Drive Letter and Paths.
• Click on Change and select the letter for the drive.
• Click OK, close all windows, then restart your computer.

Cannot find (Seagate) external hard drive in File Explorer.

To understand the issue better, please provide us more information.

1. I would recommend you to check in Disk management, if the (Seagate) external hard drive is detecting in Disk management. Follow the below steps:

a. Press Windows Key + R and type diskmgmt.msc and hit
Enter.

b. Check if the system is detecting (Seagate) external hard drive and let us know.

2. What exactly happen when you try to access on the hard drive? Do you receive any error message/error code?

Does not recognise Seagate portable external hard drive

I have looked at most of the solutions for my problem but to no avail and it worked fine up until the anniversary update.

When I run the troubleshooter with my Seagate external hard drive plugged in it's detecting that there are printer drivers not installed but my printer (HP Deskjet F4580) is working fine. The first time I did this I accepted the prompts to update and then
my printer would not work, so I had to re-install the drivers. I have tried all USB connections on my laptop (Toshiba) and all give the same error:
Location is not available, F:\ is not accessible, The request is not supported.

Does anyone have any suggestions please?
