    My stepdad purchased a laptop from a reputable high street retailer with Windows 10 installed. However when tying to install updates it was having trouble. I took a look and found it was due to a tiny hard drive (barely enough space for Windows 10) this was causing issues. He took it into the shop to see if they could remedy it but to no avail. He is now having multiple issues and all I can thing of is to install Windows 7 (would need to use a USB key as he has no CD ROM. He invested in a 1 tb external drive but this isn't helping. Can anyone advise of a workaround.

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
