Windows 10: Laptop wont turn off when I close the lid

Okay so, my computer needs a new battery and in order to see what type of battery we needed, we took the bottom off and looked to see what the battery was. We put the back back on noticing that there were a couple of screws missing but it still stays on. But the only issue after putting it back on, is that the computer screen won't turn off after closing the lid. I've tried going into control panel and doing the lid closing options but it still didn't work. Is there something that we did while opening up the computer accidentally or is it just an options issue? If anyone knows how to help me please let me know

Do nothing is already selected for Choose what closing the lid does
in Power Options, let's try to make hibernation unavailable. Follow these steps:

• Right-click on the Windows icon on your home screen.
• Select Command Prompt (Admin).
• Click Yes if you get a prompt window.
• Type powercfg.exe /hibernate off then press Enter.

See if this will prevent the laptop from hibernating when you close the lid.

1. Open Settings app. Navigate to System > Power & sleep.
2. In the Related settings section, click Additional power settings link to open Power Options window.
3. Select Choose what closing the lid does.
4. Next to When I close the lid, select Do Nothing.
5. Save changes and test the issue.

Laptop goes to sleep when the LID is closed while playing the game.
