  1. Last Update Screwed Me

I noticed this right after I suddenly had Microsoft Edge, which I do not use and don't want, by the way. I have no key functions for the following keys: backspace, right enter, and forward slash. Additionally, when I checked in Device Manager which online helps instructed me to do, I found that the standard ps/2 keyboard installed is incorrect and my computer (which is a Dell Inspiron15 3000 series laptop) reads as a DESKTOP-4TCC9P7. WTF??? I have tried uninstalling the driver and rebooting, didn't help. I even reinstalled everything on the whole PC, didn't help. In doing this, the instructions said I would not lose my bookmarks, which I did. I found them in a backup file and followed the instructions to restore them and, of course it didn't work! I am about to throw this thing out a window. I contacted Microsoft and Dell online and they wanted me to pay for them to fix it. Yeah. No.

    :)

Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Thanks for the suggestions and for the time to respond Last Update Screwed Me :) Best regards.

And thanks for the tip of that program, I'll have it on my list.
