Windows 10: Last Windows update disabled our Microsoft PDF writer.

Hi,

I am new to the group. My name is Sandra, I am new to a role - Administrator/Network Manager. The computers in this office are stand alone and do not remote into one virtual location.

I have tried Control Panel, Program and Features , and turning off and on the Windows PDF but it is not working. Has anyone else ran into this issue or any suggestions to get this back up. Please note: my manger does not want to use alternate program (PF995 or CutePDF) and also does not want to un-do the Windows update.

I suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps to resolve XPS document writer issues.

• 
  Right click on empty area on Desktop, click on Create and select New text document.
  
• 
  Open the created text document and type some text (input text as you desire, save and close text file)
  
• 
  Again open the text document, click on File tab and click on Print.
  
• 
  Select the Microsoft XPS writer and click on Print button.
  
• 
  You may select the location to save the file.

• When you say use 'Microsoft PDF or Document Writer', are you referring to open or save or copy?
• When you say other options, what options are you referring to?
• Are you referring to XPS document writer?

If it is a non-Microsoft product, we support with the installation of the product, any issues related to its working you need to check with Adobe or product manufacturer.
