Windows 10: LastPass Version 4.42.0.2 potential issue

LastPass password manager for Firefox (Mozilla based browsers) updated to 4.42.0.2 today. I immediately started having issues with Tenforums and the auto logon function. Invalid username/password alert. Manually entering ID/PW is fine, but auto thru LastPass may cause you problems. Continued retries on the failed login screen after 5 attempts will put you in a 15 minutes wait cycle to try again.

I reverted back to the previous version 4.41.1.4 and everything cleared up and back to normal.

If you are having similar issues, or others caused by this update, remove 4.42.0.2 and add 4.41.1.4., set the "update" mode for LastPass extension to OFF.

Leave 4.41.1.4 active until a new version is released.

Intel Updates Core 2 Quad Q9550 to E-0 Stepping

We continue our Monday news list with another Intel story that brings to our attention information concerning the company and more specificly its 2.83GHz Core 2 Quad Q9550 chips that will move from the current C-1 to the newer E-0 stepping. The updated chips will start selling on August 22nd, featuring the following changes:

• New SSpec and MM numbers for the converting products
• CPUID will change from 0x10677 to 0x1067A
• Package change to Halide free package

Apart from that, the new stepping CPUs will not include any other changes. Of course, like most new stepping parts a BIOS update will be needed.
