Windows 10: Latest DISASTER of an update

This updated already ruined one brand new computer, which I was fortuntaley able to return. It nearly ruined my second, until I connected a ISB keyboard, and rolled back the updates.

I tried that on mymprevious computer and it would mot work. I had to do a full fresh knstall via USB and that somehow ruined my network card.

This update is a complete and utter failure and MS should be issuing a HUGE applogy for this embarrassment.


There is a HUGE issue with pin logins after the latest updates, and on many devices it disables the keyboard, rendering newrly every “fix” under this topic categorically impossible.

Figure it out please.

I installed the latest win 10 update is a disaster, my start button won't work, cortana does not work and the mouse works sometimes amd will disaper other times. HELP my pc worked great until I installed this. Using my older pc, can't get the mouse back
working. Thank You

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Was the update offered & installed via Windows Update or did you install it manually?

Is it the same computer as in your four (4) "Can't get Cortana to work!" threads in late November 2015 (e.g.,
this one)?
