Windows 10: Latest Firefox Released for Windows

Not fully checked yet but just thrashed FB in Chrome, not a single glitch. The only thing I hate about Chrome is no menu bar, I use it regularly.

 

Graphics card is brand new (see spec); just got rid of Nvidia Geforce GTX 750ti in which it happened there too.

 

I was getting the same screens you were getting, I ditched the 64bit version and haven't had a glitch since.

 

I am pleased to see I am not the one going MAD!!!!!

So its 32 bit FF then!!!!

edit: now on 44.01 FF 32 bit, here goes..................................................................

Edwin got my green screen within 30 secs of being on FB; so its not the 64 bit then??????????

Edwin, just blasted FB (in my own group) thorough Chrome, nothing happened, all ok

Hi, has anyone found a way to add 'Run' to the Save box in FF44+? OpenDownload is not compatible any longer; I'm struggling to find an equivalent. Really useful for, say, updating freeware when you don't want to save the exe. Thanks!

 

I figure it's a security risk.
OpenDownload² works though.

 

Hmm, can't get it to install. (I've used that option for years- as it's under my control, I'm the risk...*Wink

1. it's shown not compatible with FF44.
2. ok, tried to install it anyway.
3. had to override the (new?) signing requirement in about:config
4. installation was rejected as it is not compatible with FF44.01

A long time ago I recall having to take apart an xpi and mod the version compatibility spec. I guess that's next..
