    Latest Win 10 ISO from MS


    Hi Guys.

    Nice forum, just signed up, been browsing for few days. Like the look of it.

    Just a quick question on the latest .iso of win 10 from MS

    Does it include the ani update? Im about to wipe the c: and thought want a nice clean tidy instal.

    SFC unable to repair

    I stated the problem with a repair in the post you have replied to.

    To reiterate the win ISO I have, from MS is of version that has not been updated to the latest sp level, and as such an in-place repair is not possible, or offered only a clean install (keeping data or not)

    I have not found any method of integrating the latest Win SP into win 10 ISO media

    Unable to install Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 for x64-based Systems (KB3172985).

    I ended up downloading the latest ISO from MS for Win 10 and updating via a CD.

    Probably more tedious than it needed to be.

    I need to give it a few days to see if everything is functional.

    If you like, you could use the free program Classic Shell to have a Start menu like Windows 7 in Windows 10.

    I also dont like how its leaving old files behind for the revert. To me you cant beat a good old clean instal and start a fresh *Smile

    I might try 1 of those, or learn to live with it. Seems MS cannot decide on a layout. 95's menu was a solid layout *Smile

    That's the same Build on my Version 1607 Build 14393 with updates to .187. The Insider Preview I have is Version 1607 Build 14901.1000 and build 14926 apparently is the latest but I haven't been offered it yet.
