    Latest Windows 10 Update 12-12-18 made laptop into boat anchor


    Noticed this morning 12-12-18 my hp laptop windows 10 updated itself. Since then it boots to the desktop sometimes slowly but gets there. Can not open up any apps. Can not open taskmager from any where , can not open up control panel , can open command windows x but nothing beyond that . Pointer works , clock works. Remember any instructions from desktop will not work. Incuding booting to safe mode

    after the newest windows update on 6/12/18 all 4 of my windows 10 machines keep saying they need to restart....have restarted each multiple times in last few days. any suggestions?

    Windows 10 upgrade has turned laptop into a boat anchor

    So called free upgrade has turned my laptop into a boat anchor. After went through the upgrade a message appears that "Windows could not complete the installation. To install Windows on this computer, restart the installation "

    On restart a message of "setup is preparing your computer for the first use". Then the install windows error reappears.

    Not sure where the recovery disc may be, And don't want to lose the content that was filed on the. Laptop.

    ideas to recover.

    Printing Issues 12" x 18" Paper

    Good Afternoon,

    New to Windows 10. in the past I could print on 12" x 18" paper and with 10 I don't seem to be able to do that. Can you suggest what I can do to fix this problem?
