Windows 10: Latest Windows Update won't update

    i have tried to run trouble shooter, but all it does is says it fixed the problem but when i try to retry updating same thing happens. I have also tried using the dism commands. "dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restore health" "dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup" i tried to find the windows source file but i dont exactly know how that works so it got me no where and a wasted 3 hours of my time. please help

    Windows updates won't install!

    I had the same problem when i repaired my O/S, i forgot the steps on how to fixed it, but it is in the microsoft support forum.

    You have to reinstall the windows updater, then restart the updating service.

    When in win10:
    • Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....
    Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
    - Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.
