Discus and support Launching Minecraft in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; I was able to launch minecraft before updating the system, but after having updated system I couldn't.     Launching Minecraft


    I was able to launch minecraft before updating the system, but after having updated system I couldn't.

    Homegroup For Minecraft Servers Or What?

    It looks as if the existing minecraft server will use the new system without modification - It needs to be able to access the computers on the network in a two way link, which is the standard for Workgroup and Homegroup

    There is a complete step by step available, if you have any issues ...

    Tutorials/Setting up a server – Official Minecraft Wiki

    It's not something I have any direct experience with but a quick read suggests to me that you will not need to do Much if any reconfiguration of the existing server

    Launching Minecraft

    Minecraft Windows 10 Edition stuck in Beta (1.15)

    I launched Minecraft and it was in 1.16.1. At this time, the 1.16.2 was released but mine hadn't updated. I uninstalled and re-installed but when I launched, it was in the 1.15 Beta edition. There is 1 user on this PC.

    Have tried:

    • Deleting the Microsoft.MinecraftUWP_8wekyb3d8bbwe folder in Appdata/Local/Packages
    • Resetting the program data in the Apps&Features page in settings
    • Restarted PC
    Things to note:

    • I have been part of the Insider Beta testing
    • I have the Minecraft Starter collection
    • The game installs significantly faster than expected which suggests that the files are locally stored on the PC and aren't being uninstalled properly
