Windows 10: Launching wsl: /usr:/usr/bin is not found in the $PATH environment variable after Windows...

WSL dont append Windows Path

I just installed the ubuntu 18.04 distribution in offline mode and it works correctly, but I can not append Windows ENV % Path% in my

WSL $ PATH

## bash

> echo $PATH

output:

/home/user/.local/bin:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games:/usr/local/games: /

I have also created the wsl.conf in etc

[interop]

enabled = true

appendWindowsPath = true

and should be able to see the windows routes stored in the% PATH%,
because of this error I can not run win32 applications under bash

 

Add a path to $PATH?

":/usr/local/bin" ":/usr/bin:"

It is already in the path. Assuming /usr is your home directory.

 

Question about usr

What is the path to this usr folder?
