Windows 10: LEAVING EMAIL OF THE SERVER

After a recent move I had to change ISPs and get a new email address. My new ISP is Spectrum.


After using a number of third-party email clients, I couldn't understand why the emails in my inbox would simply delete themselves, regardless of the email client I was using. I finally figured it out! If I deleted emails on my android cell phone, they were then also deleted on my computer and on the Spectrum/Charter server.


I am now using the Windows Mail App for my email, and it is working just fine.


But how do I fix this business of my emails being deleted from my computer and the Spectrum server if I delete them on my android cell phone? I have checked Spectrum's online mail, my cell phone, and my computer for a "Leave a copy on the server" option, but it just doesn't exist.


So, what do I do now? Can anyone help? Thanks!

Leave email on server

Yes, I have WM5. I have a pop account with Comcast. If I delete an email on the phone, it deletes it of the comcast server. There needs to be a setting on the phone that says "Leave messages on server".

Leaving email on the server

In Win Mobile 6+, I could tell the phone to pul;l email but leave it on the server. Phone 7 does not seem to permit this setting, but rather deletes email from the server when deleted from the phone. A lot of mail I need to deal with from my desktop, but
if I delete an email from the phone before I download to the desktop, , it's gone. Sometimes I forget and I have lost some valuable emails.

Is this something MSoft mightaddress in a future update?
