Windows 10: Left arrow key only works when entering PIN

I had used the registry editor and only changed LongPathsEnabled from 0 to 1. Restarting after this I had a software update and since, my left arrow key has not worked.. It does work when entering my pin and for a couple seconds after doing a clean boot. I know this is not a hardware issue because I have tried with 2 keyboards and the on-screen keyboard plus the key works in the login screen

down arrow key stopped working

My razor lycosa down arrow key decided to not respond at some point today. The other ones work and so does the numpad arrow if i turn off the numlock. Sounds like its just broken and im screwed, but any suggestions?

Method 1.

I suggest you to run hardware troubleshooter to diagnose the exact issue. It will automatically detect the problem and fix it.

  Press Windows + X keys on the keyboard and select Control Panel.
  
• 
  Type Troubleshooting in the search bar on the Control Panel.
  
• 
  Click on Small icon on the left navigation pane.
  
• 
  Click on Troubleshooting and click on
  Hardware and Device.
  
• 
  Click on Advanced on the Hardware troubleshooter dialog box and click on Run as administrator (Enter the credentials if required).
  
• 
  Click on Next and follow onscreen instruction complete the Hardware troubleshooter.
  

If the issue still persist, try the below methods.

Method 2.

I suggest you to uninstall/reinstall the keyboard driver and check.

  Press Windows Key + X and click on
  Device Manager.
  
• 
  Locate for the Keyboard and click on it to expand.
  
• 
  Right click on the keyboard and click on
  uninstall.
  
• 
  Once you are done uninstalling the driver, restart the computer. It will automatically install the keyboard driver.
  

If this doesn’t help to fix the issue. I suggest you to update the keyboard driver. Skip step3 from the above steps and right click on the
device and click on update.

Left arrow key sometimes doesn't work.

Hi,

I have the problem that when i press the "up" and "down" arrow keys, the "left" arrow key doesn't work. Similarly, when i press the "left" arrow key and either "up" or "down", the other one doesn't work. The "right" arrow key does work fine though. I am on a Lenovo laptop.

Can someone help me?
