Windows 10: Left click opens drop down menu after upgrade to Windows 10

Hi, after upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 10, whenever I left-click touchpad on anything like inside a text or on a scroll bar, it pops open the drop-down menu as if it was right click. Hitting ESC key closes this menu, but I have to do it every time. I saw other posts about this issue, but I have not seen any real solution.

Right click opens the menu as it supposed to do, so the buttons are not switched. Reboot does not solve it.

My laptop: Lenovo HODDTC9173 if it makes any difference.

Open with drop down menu ALWAYS opens to the left

please help resolve this annoying issue

When selecting a file and open with , there is a drop down menu that to my knowledge by default
open always to the right in Windows, but not if it too far right on the screen then it opens to the left .

But in my case even with enough space left or right , the drop down menu ALWAYS opens to the left.

How to fix so it opens normal way again
