Windows 10: Left Handed Mouse Cursors

For years, I have been using left handed mouse pointers that I created myself. These, and others, have been freely available for download for years. However, Microsoft has recently taken away the ability to use third party mouse cursors, and so now, I find it extremely difficult to work, as the pointers are all pointing backwards.Microsoft is discriminating against left handed people by not allowing us the required accessibility option of using pointers that are flipped horizontally to go along with the switched buttons.I was on with their support today for TWO HOURS, and no help whatsoever. Left handed mouse when docked and right handed touchpad when undocked

You can configure the mouse settings for left hand and set the touchpad for normal use.

Follow these steps to configure the mouse settings:

Left handed cursors revert back to right handed when colored

When I download left handed cursors and move them into the cursors folder and set them as some of my mouse cursors (select, link etc.) they revert to the default right handed cursors when coloring them. Is there a way to color left handed cursors without
them reverting to right handed cursors (left handed cursors have the arrow leaning in the opposite direction). Thank you.

I solved my own problem with the RealWorld cursor editor (using the "open" option). I opened the left handed cursor (in the editor), colored it and hit file, save. I did have to go to the mouse pointer properties and re-select the left handed cursor by browsing
to it. If doing this remember you need to put any non-default cursor files in the cursors folder for them to survive a reset as your mouse cursor. Good luck!
